An empty moon holds no light
Yet the arrow of the hunter flies true
Into the red ghosts within you that dissipate like smoke
The Red Ruminations are the thoughts we haunt ourselves with. Those that replay in our minds late at night, creating violent fantasies all their own, cursing us to a life wherein our mind is always in fight or flight. Yet there is hope, for the ghosts are fearful of the mind that doesn’t feed them, of the person who can peer through the dark within into the bright and present world of the outside. The ghosts have little power without their ability to hold our attention captive, and fear, above all, the arrow of the hunter who shows them for the fragile fantasies that they are.
