There once was a singing horse whose love of music blazed until it echoed across the forest like a thousand rays of starlight.
Jealous of their creativity, the wicked roots that grew within the world set the horse ablaze, turning their once joyful passion into a force of destruction. But the horse harnessed their newfound fire, becoming brighter with a tenacity and control that allowed them to burn only the roots of the being that had tried to undo them.
Passion gift, more precious even than talent. Its fiery nature can help us overcome the many oppositions of a world seeking to turn our own desires against us, or silence that which makes us unique.
This piece was using my own handmade watercolors.
